SUMMARY:Members Only - Planetarium Movie Night
DESCRIPTION:Join us Saturday\, June 1 for an out of this world evening featuring a museum cocktail hour and a viewing of Wall-E in the James E. Bertelsmeyer Planetarium.  WALL-E\, short for Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-class\, is the last robot left on Earth. He spends his days tidying up the planet\, one piece of garbage at a time. But during 700 years\, WALL-E has developed a personality\, and he’s more than a little lonely. Then he spots EVE\, a sleek and shapely probe sent back to Earth on a scanning mission. Smitten WALL-E embarks on his greatest adventure yet when he follows EVE across the galaxy. This family friendly event is offered free of charge exclusively to TASM members. \nMuseum doors will open at 5:30 pm for a member’s only museum hour and full cash bar access. Tickets will be available for pick up at the front desk from 5:30-6:30 pm with proof of valid membership. The featured film will begin at approximately 6:30 pm. Please make sure to respect TASM’s regulations as food and beverage are not permitted inside of the planetarium. Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase from 5:30-6:30 pm during the member’s only museum hour. \nPlease RSVP below\, and if you’re not a member\, you can purchase memberships here or in person at TASM!

To celebrate we are inviting our neighbors to come blast off the next quarter-century at an all-day Birthday Party! \nFrom 10:00 am until 4:00p\, we are lowering Museum Admission to $2.50 per guest! Every hour we will draw winners giving away exciting items like a FREE Annual Membership\, sweet NASA merchandise\, Planetarium Tickets and birthday packages.\nWe are also launching a new concept called “Hangar Chats” that will bring guests and experts face-to-face for a speed-round of learning and Q&A. This day’s chats will include a chance to meet our Founding Father\, Lee Raney\, and hear why TASM is here and where it’s going. \nThis day will be for families! From a Chalk-Spacey Competition on the ramp to a Mystery Message Scavenger Hunt through the grounds and a Toddler Story Time in the MD-80\, we have all ages covered! We will be welcoming a local High School’s Robotics Team for live Robo-demos throughout the day and even a class on how to choose and use your own telescope. \nMembers are not left out! This month is our first “Members Only” that will give access to a Sneak-Peek Soiree into our newest 2nd-floor Mezzanine that is now home to an ever changing Exhibition Space that will present not only timely\, but also innovative and rare collections for Space and Air History.
