DESCRIPTION:The annual Runway Run at the Tulsa Air & Space Museum is a 5k unlike any other! Taking place on the Tulsa International Airport Runway\, experience aviation and get moving! All runners will receive this year’s medal featuring the Spartan Executive Model 12\, a one-of-a-kind plane\, and the last airplane manufactured by the Spartan Aviation Company in 1946. Register by June 10th for a t-shirt guarantee. Runners also receive admission to the museum and one planetarium show for the event date. \nThe race start time has changed to 8:00am. \n\nDoors open at 6:00am\nOnsite registration ends at 7:45am\nRace will begin promptly at 8:00am\n\nPacket pick-up is available on race day only. \nFor registration\, please click the link in the event details section located below.

SUMMARY:Commemorative Air Force RISE ABOVE Traveling Exhibit
DESCRIPTION:A fully functional mobile movie theater features two compelling original short RISE ABOVE films that tell the story of the Tuskegee Airmen or the WASP\, and the obstacles they both overcame to be able to serve their country during WWII. This immersive experience is housed in a climate controlled 53’ semi-trailer with expandable sides and equipped with a ramp and hydraulic lift to ensure access to all\, comfortably accommodating 30 visitors for each showing. Because of its dynamic 160-degree panoramic screen\, the film creates the feeling of being in the cockpit soaring above the clouds. \nA P-51 Mustang and T-6 Texas will be on static display for all to view.
