DESCRIPTION:The Tulsa Air and Space Museum & Planetarium is proud to host the Commemorative Air Force’s AirPower History Tour from September 12 to 16. In honor of this visit of historic World War II aircraft\, including the B-29 Superfortress “FIFI\,” TASM is pleased to present a unique event taking place during the evening of Friday\, September 14— 1940s Hanger Dance \nWe look forward to welcoming you to this event and honoring the valiant spirit of the 1940s! \nPresented by Christiansen Jet Center\, south Tulsa’s premier FBO. \nSponsored by White River Fish Market. \n  \nEVENT DETAILS: \nThe 1940s Hangar Dance will take place during the Commemorative Air Force’s AirPower History Tour’s visit to TASM\, several vintage WWII aircraft will be on display along with other WWII era military vehicles.  All guests will receive a commemorative gift.  A cash bar available for beer & wine purchases\, food will be available for purchase and is not included in the ticket price.  The dance will feature the TEG Swing Band! \nThis event is geared for ages 12 and up. \n★ A canteen will be set up with hand-rolled cigars\, wine and bourbon tasting & more! \n★ Vintage Dress Encouraged: 1940s\, patriotic\, Military\, Civilian and Zoot Suits. \n★ Cash Bar for Beer & Wine.
