On July 23rd-24th at 2:15pm our Planetarium Manager Bryan Kyle will be giving his special presentation “Remembering the Space Shuttle.” \nLearn about what the shuttle is and how it works\, the tragedies and triumphs of its 30 year history\, and have any and all questions answered dring this 45 minute presentation in our Planetarium theater. \nTickets are $7 each\, with youth under 4 and members getting in for free! \nPlease note this speaker series will change the regular planetarium show schedule. Fly through the International Space Station\,w here astroanuts are already living and working in space\, and follow the rockets and vehicles that will take humans beyond the Moon\, and one day Mars! \n12:30pm- Black Holes with Night Sky Tour\nAudiences will be dazzled with striking\, immersive animations of the formation of the early universe\, star bith and death\, the collisions of giant galaxies and a simulated flight to a super massive black gole at the center of our own galaxy. \n2:15pm- Speaker Series: Remembering the Space Shuttle\n\n3:15pm- Dawn of the Space Age\nRelive the excitment of the early days of space exploration\, from the aunch of the first artificial satellite Sputnik\, to the magnificent lunar landings and privately operated space flights.
