Honoring Essential Workers

The future

During this unique and unprecedented time, the Tulsa Air and Space Museum and Bertelsmeyer Planetarium remains committed to preserving Oklahoma’s aerospace heritage and inspiring science based learning through discovery. We remain open to the public and continue to take all necessary safety precautions while providing the best experience possible.

To recognize this occasion, the museum has created a special commemorative coin in remembrance of 75 years of Essential Workers. The coin features a stylized image of Rosie the Riveter, capturing the true tenacity of the Essential worker spirit. These coins are our way of saying “thank you” to our donors.

75th anniversary – end of wwii

The Board, Volunteers, and Staff members of the Tulsa Air and Space Museum and Bertelsmeyer Planetarium invite you to join us for an honorary ceremony on November 11, 2020, to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of Victory Day of the end of WWII, to remember our Veterans and honor all the Essential Personnel who contributed to these efforts.

This celebration will provide field trip sponsorship opportunities for at-risk students, family museum memberships for Essential workers, and special commemorative coins.

We ask for your support of the 2020 Tulsa Air and Space Museum and Bertelsmeyer Planetarium Essential Worker Celebration with your usual Aviator Ball sponsorship or ticket purchase level. Because there are no goods or services provided, your donation will be fully deductible at the extent allowed by the law. Donations at any level are always welcome and greatly appreciated.

If you would like to help remember our Veterans and honor all Essential Personnel through the form of a sponsorship please email [email protected] or call 918.834.9900.

Supporting TASM

Thank you! As a non-profit, The Tulsa Air and Space Museum and Planetarium relies on tax deductible donations from generous supporters like you. A gift of any amount, or any type, is sincerely appreciated and will help TASM continue to not only preserve Oklahoma’s extensive aerospace history, but to inspire science based learning through discovery. Your donation will help transform lives through science!

COVID Relief Fund

TASM has opened an emergency COVID-19 relief fund in order to offset the effects of closing our doors during the height of the pandemic. While it was the safest option for the community, closing was a difficult decision to make. Shutting down during our busiest season meant losing revenue from admission, field trips, and special events-revenue that is needed to go toward operating costs, new exhibits, and educational programs. We understand this is an uncertain time for the whole community; we ask you consider a donation to help TASM continue to make its impact.

Help Our Operating Costs

A gift to our operating fund will do more than keep The Tulsa Air and Space Museum and Planetarium doors open. A donation, of any amount, will help TASM create new exhibits, new educational programming, put on exciting events, and make any repairs/upgrades needed to continue inspiring the public on the wonders of the universe and aerospace. We couldn’t continue to grow without your help, your generosity makes a difference!
