Is there an age requirement?

The Daytime Expo is open to attendees of all ages. However, the Galaxy Ball (evening event) is an 18+ event. All guests attending the Ball must be at least 18 years old.

What is the dress code?

We encourage guests to wear whatever formal attire makes them feel most comfortable, confident, and beautiful. Whether you arrive in an elegant gown, a sharp suit, fantasy-inspired formalwear, or as your favorite character, this is your chance to express yourself.

There is no such thing as being “too dressed up” at the Galaxy Ball. We encourage everyone to embrace the magic of the evening and let their creativity shine.

Are prop swords allowed?

Yes. Costume prop swords and similar accessories are welcome when they are appropriate as part of a costume. All props must comply with event safety policies and may be subject to inspection upon entry.

Will there be a cloak room?

Yes. A cloak room will be available for guests during the event.

Can I attend the event solo?

Absolutely! We welcome individuals, couples, and groups of friends. Many guests attend on their own and enjoy meeting fellow fans throughout the evening.

Will there be free parking?

Yes. We have a large free parking lot in front of the museum and planetarium.

Will alcohol be served?

Yes. Guests who are 21 years of age or older will have access to alcoholic cocktails with valid identification.

For guests under 21, we will offer a selection of delicious mocktails and other non-alcoholic beverages.

Will there be a costume contest?

Yes. We will have a costume contest with prizes. More details coming.

Are tickets refundable?

Yes. Tickets are refundable if a refund request is submitted on or before October 1, 2026.

Are tickets transferable?

Yes. Tickets may be transferred to another guest if you are unable to attend.

Can I bring a camera?

Yes. Guests are welcome to bring personal cameras and capture memories throughout the evening.

Will there be professional photography?

Yes. Professional photographers with facial recognition software will be available. You will be able to receive your digital photos right away. Selfie photo opportunities will be available as well

Should I eat before the event?

We will be serving a selection of gourmet charcuterie delicacies during the event. While there will be food available, guests may wish to enjoy a meal before arriving. VIP guests will have additional hot hors d’oeuvres options.

What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Please let us know about any allergies or dietary restrictions when purchasing your ticket. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Will there be seating available?

Yes. Seating and lounge areas will be available throughout the venue for guests to relax and socialize.

Can I leave and re-enter the event?

Yes. Please retain ticket/bracelet given to you upon entry.

Will there be music and dancing?

Yes! The Galaxy Ball will feature a live DJ, entertainment, and plenty of opportunities to dance and celebrate throughout the evening.

What should I bring?

Please bring your ticket, a valid photo ID, and anything you need to complete your formalwear or costume. Guests planning to purchase alcoholic beverages must present valid identification showing they are 21 or older.
