Osage SkyNews 6 HD visits TASM

February 16, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

You’ve seen it on the news, now see it in person!

Osage SkyNews 6 HD Pilot, Dustin Stone, will plan to visit TASM on Saturday, February 16, 2019! (Dependent on weather or breaking news). The news helicopter plans to arrive at TASM at 11:00 a.m. and will depart at 3:00 p.m.

Dustin Stone began working at KOTV as a 20 year old kid in 2000. He started out as a Master Control, Video Tape and Audio Operator for 6 in the Morning. Then spent the next 10 years, covering news as a Live Truck Operator and traveling the country, covering bowl games, march madness, the space shuttle, hurricanes, tornadoes, and many other national news events in Spirit Star (the satellite truck). After that he became Engineering Operations Supervisor and then News Operations Manager. During that entire time, he was also a photographer in Osage Skynews 6. This was where his love for flying helicopters took over. In June of 2018, Dustin achieved his dream job by becoming the pilot of Osage Skynews 6.

TASM Members: At Noon, there will be a fun activity workshop just for our Members all about Helicopters in the Classroom!
