Immerse yourself for the evening in a world where fantasy, history, and flight come together inside the Tulsa Air & Space Museum.
The Galaxy Ball takes place within the Museum’s expansive Exhibit Hall, surrounded by rare and historic aircraft, extraordinary aviation artifacts, and one-of-a-kind pieces representing more than a century of flight. Guests will dance beneath the wings of legendary aircraft, including an F-14 Tomcat, while exploring a venue unlike any traditional ballroom.
Commanding the center of the Museum is an exclusive recreation of the façade of Tulsa’s original Municipal Airport—a magnificent tribute to the city’s celebrated Art Deco heritage. The recreation incorporates original architectural elements, including the historic entrance doorway and original sconce lighting fixtures, and meticulously captures the distinctive geometric details of Tulsa’s aviation age.
High above the entrance, the iconic Art Deco Angel overlooks the Museum and the evening’s festivities, creating a dramatic backdrop worthy of a royal court.

Prepare for two thrilling live sword-fighting exhibitions as skilled knights take the field and blades clash before the gathered court. Guests will witness the spectacle of medieval-inspired combat brought to life with dramatic swordplay, skill, and pageantry worthy of the Galaxy Ball.
Gather close as rival warriors face one another beneath the wings of historic aircraft and discover who will emerge victorious when the final sword is lowered.

Dragon Scavenger Hunt
How does the Dragon Scavenger Hunt work?
Tiny dragons have escaped and are hiding throughout the event! Keep your eyes open as you explore the realms. If you discover one, bring your captured dragon to the Dragon Hunt Table to claim your prize!
Limit ONE dragon and ONE prize per person.
Dragons must be turned in at the designated Dragon Hunt Table.

The Grand Costume Contest
How does the Royal Costume Contest work?
Forget the traditional runway! Our Royal Costume Contest takes place right on the dance floor!
All guests wishing to participate will join a progressive dance line, dancing, twirling, and strutting their way past our esteemed panel of judges. Show off your creativity, personality, and magnificent attire as you dance your way into the hearts of the judges!
The contest begins at 9:00 PM. All fantasy characters and creative costumes are welcome!

Do I need to bring my paper ticket?
No! Your paper ticket is yours to keep as a special souvenir of the evening.
All guests will check in by name at the Registration Table. Simply provide your name upon arrival, and our royal attendants will welcome you into the realm.
Is there somewhere to leave my cloak?
Yes! A designated Cloak Closet will be available for guests who wish to set aside their cloaks or outerwear while enjoying the festivities.
Will there be vendors and shopping?

The Knighting Ceremony
There are moments when simply saying “thank you” isn’t quite enough.
During the Galaxy Ball, the royal court will pause its festivities for a very special ceremonial tradition—the Knighting of an Honored Guest.
Before the assembled court, our special guest will be summoned forward, presented to the realm, and formally recognized in a ceremonial knighting complete with sword, pageantry, and a little Galaxy Ball magic.
It is a moment designed to celebrate someone whose contributions, character, or service deserve recognition beyond the ordinary.
As the sword is raised and our honored guest kneels before the court, guests will witness the transformation from honored visitor to Knight of the Galaxy Ball.
Then, when the newly appointed knight rises, we invite the entire realm to welcome them with the celebration they deserve.
A sword. An oath. An honor bestowed before the entire court.

The Galaxy Ball will feature two separate bars serving our guests throughout the evening, including a dedicated VIP Bar exclusively for VIP ticket holders and a second bar conveniently serving the Grand Court.
Enjoy our selection of themed cocktails and mocktails, raise a glass with your fellow adventurers, then return to the dance floor, explore the fantasy realms, visit the photography settings, or enjoy the evening’s entertainment.
Our two-bar experience is designed to keep lines shorter and the festivities flowing, while giving VIP guests an additional level of convenience and exclusivity.

Arriving at the Galaxy Ball is simple—and parking is completely FREE.
Guests can park in the Tulsa Air & Space Museum’s private, well-lit parking lot, conveniently located just a short walk from the Museum’s front entrance. Security cameras provide additional monitoring of the parking area throughout your visit, so you can leave the worries of the outside world behind and prepare to enter the realm.
The Museum is also committed to making the Galaxy Ball welcoming and accessible. Designated accessible parking spaces are located near the entrance, with wheelchair-accessible routes and ramps providing easy access from the parking area into the Museum. Accessible entrance doors with assistance features make entering and exiting easier for guests with mobility needs.
No distant parking. No shuttles. No long journey back to your carriage at the end of the Ball.
