MD-80 Discovery Center
Donated to TASM by American Airlines, the MD-80 airliner was moved from American’s Maintenance base on Tulsa International Airport to its permanent place between the Museum and the Planetarium in late 2013. Benefiting from several fundraising campaigns and generous donations, TASM converted the MD-80 into the MD-80 Discovery Center and a unique flight theater.

Tours of the MD-80 are lead by our team of knowledgeable volunteers and start on the hour. When at TASM, please express your interest in touring the aircraft to one of our volunteers so they can be sure to include you in the next tour!
